The new expressi machine caught my eye a few weeks back when it advertised as an upcoming regular staple in the aldi catalogue. I liked the price so yesterday hubby bought it. From all reports on the net it was flying off the shelves pretty much everywhere since going on sale on Saturday. No fear Canberra had plenty- maybe all the coffee snobs are against it. I can say I really like it but you will need to buy the milk frother as well to ensure that the cappuccino stays at an acceptable temperature. All cheap though as you can pick up the machine and frother for under $100 clams. The pods are good value as well. My non coffee drinker hubby has even become a convert.
I saw the ad too and the price is great. I don't wanna buy it before trying one though- wish they set up a stall and made free samples or something! Otherwise I'll wait until I've sampled a friends.
